Until you have held a tiny puppy in your arms as it kissed your face with slobbery puppy breath … and felt the love, Until you have held an injured or severely ill dog in your arms … and felt their pain Until you have looked into the eyes of a tired aging senior dog … and felt their wisdom, And until you have seen and understood the look in your dogs eyes that tell you their time on earth with you is over .... and you humanely let them go, You will never understand the life of a rescuer.

I've done all those things and cherish each of the experiences. Now I'm having a good cry. Thanks for the reminder.

Oh My Gosh...Give me that adorable puppy...NOW! I want to ((((HUG))) him! Is this cutie pie yours? I had left you a reply comment on my blog, but you may not have seen it. If you decide to try the Pit bull Forum out, let me know & I will hop over to the intro section to welcome you in. Hugs, Starla ...here's a copy of my reply... Cheryl...here is a link to an excellent forum for Responsible Pit bull Owners... http://www.pitbullforum.com/viewforum.php?f=17&sid=65be2f1827aeea1693d408d89aef3a40 ...I have been a member for several years. If you join, you have to go into the introduction phase & be welcomed before being allowed access to the rest of the site. As for the BSL in Miami, it has been in place for a long time. Denver is another city w/ a long standing & Violent Ban on Bully Breeds. Hundreds of nice dogs were taken from their owners & PTS there....SAD. People fear what they don't understand.

What a SWEET puppy! Looking at his beloved lil' face... just LOVE at first site!

Cheryl, you posted about my sheep pattern. It probably could be enlarged to finish in rug hooking, but the pattern as-is is only about 4". Please feel free to email me directly.

Boy, this really gets to my heart, as does the rest of your blog. Thank you for following my kittens and mama Kelly. I love all my animals but the neediest ones have a special place in my heart - and I know they do in yours too. The hearts of rescurers get broken from time to time but would we ever choose to look the other way and not offer help? Absolutely not. We do what we do out of love. Thank you for such a caring blog.
